I agree with Louv's views, because I am on my laptop a lot doing all my online homework. Afterwards, I normally feel tired, but if I go outside, I suddenly have my energy. And then when I'm doing my book work, if it's a nice day I will go outside and do it. Hard questions don't stress me out so bad, and I get it done faster. Outside is where we need to be, so instead of playing on your mobile device or computer, be active, have fun, and enjoy this summer outside.

I agree one hundred percent with Louv. It's so true that today all I see around are kids on phones or games. In general if you're walking through the city people are usually busy, occupied, grumpy, and rude. But when I go to say, campbell valley, people always smile or say hi, are happy and relaxed. When on electronics I tend to get tired, but when immersed in nature, I feel rejuvenated. Its true that we are supposed to spend more time outside, especially in nature.

i completely agree, i would love to spend more time in nature rather then staring at a screen. It's a shame since my mother is at work all day and she can't drive me to any forest and such. It is a shame that kid's theese days simply forget about nature's beauty and are more caught up in schooling or the internet. I think schools should have field trips to parks such as cultis lake and so on.

I definitely agree that people including myself are spending too much time inside on screens and such, and not enough outside nature time. When I go outside I feel it definitely helps me calm down and relax, however for me it’s mostly only a temporary stress relief. I find when I go outside to ride my bike or walk with my dog it’s really quite enjoying but in the back of my head I always seem to remember that there’s something to do, such as school. But I think that it’s always a good thing to go outside and reconnect with nature even if it doesn't help you much.

Nature vs. Screen Time! It's a fight to the death! POW! Almost INSTANTLY Screen Time eliminates Nature!

I totally agree with Louv’s perspective. I feel like people these days are spending way too much time on electronics. Kids as young as ten years old are getting Ipods and even cellphones.

I agree with Louv's views because I have to go outside everyday or I will drive my family bananas. I like to bike, longboard and visit my friends. Most of my friends are the same as me. I am active and don't like to sit around. I think the outdoors is better than indoors. I like to go outside. It is better for your health because if you stay inside you can get diabetes and depression.

Computers. Friend or foe? Most people would argue that this technology is harmless, but is it really? How much time does the average person spend on his or her smart phone? Instead of chatting, most kids waste their time playing Farm-ville or texting someone who is sitting right next to them. It is so easy to open up your laptop and completely lose track of time! By the time your battery dies, you finally notice how long you've been on. I find that when I get off the computer I feel tired, slightly depressed, unmotivated to do anything, and my brain is overloaded. There is so much more to do outside than on your phone. Go for a hike, film a movie, play tag with your friends, the list goes on! Try to minimize the time spent on electronics. Trust me, you'll feel a lot better outside than inside on a computer! I totally agree with Louv.

I do agree with Louv, everything in moderation right? While yes the majority of people should be getting up and spending more time outside this does not mean we should completely disband the internet. Often if I need a good think or something of that matter I do find it easier to go outside and do it then to do it inside. It is getting to a point where everything is online, homework, taxes, etc. This is not bad though I just think the point that Louv is trying to get across is ‘fine spend your time online or whatever but be sure to be going outside into nature for a bit every day’.

Though I agree that we are not spending enough time in nature. I don't think that we should solely blame screens, there are many other things that take away from nature: shopping, reading and indoor sports. Even some outside sports have absolutely nothing to do with nature. Technology can even help convince people to go outside, look at the original article.

I agree with Louv’s views. People spend too much time looking at their phones instead of being outside and enjoying the fresh air. There’s so much that you can do outside such as bike riding and skateboarding and stuff. I think that outdoors is much better than indoors. I think that people should spend more time doing something useful with their lives rather than staring at their phones all day.

Nature is good but the definition of outdoors is different for some people. For some people, the outdoors is hanging out in their backyards and for others it is going to the playground. For some people it is the middle of knowhere, with no one around for many miles. Kids need to balance their lives with an equal amount of technology and nature.
