*My apologies for the late post. I had to re-edit the Year End Review Video a number of times in order to reduce the length and file size in order for it to be posted on our Class Website.*
It is tough to know that today drew the curtain on our Covid-19 shortened school year. I am incredibly appreciative to have had the time together that we did, and as you will see in the Year in Review Video (I re-edited it, cut out 4 minutes, and posted it above the Daily Recap)...we did A LOT this year, even if the Corona virus interfered and cancelled a bunch of our other planned activities.
I am extremely proud of every single one of you, for your growth, your adaptability and for trusting me enough to step outside your comfort zones and try some new things for the very first time this year. I know that each of you are well-prepared for the challenges of the next grade, and that your new teachers are going to adore you all as much as I do.
Congratulations on graduating from Grade 5 or in the case of Ryder, Emmy, Skylar, Hayden, Jeffrey, Alex and Slade, Grade 6, and I hope you all have an awesome summer holiday!
Finally, thank you very much for your kind words, cards and gifts. I was floored by your generosity and thoughtfulness.
NOTE: Big Joe, Skylar and Parker...please come see me either on Wednesday or Thursday before lunchtime to collect your cars. Each of your cars are fantastic and deserve to be displayed prominently in your rooms!
