Don't stop and correct errors and try to keep your hands in the correct position on the Home Row. Once you are done. Stop your timer, count up your errors (if you have any) and post your information in the Comments section of this post. GOOD LUCK! TIP: to help you keep your eyes up and away from looking at the keyboard, do a split screen. Put your Muscovy Duck story on one side, then drag your tab for a new Word Document to the other side. Notice on the example below that Spell Check will underline words that are misspelt, but won't recognize wrong words from the text. For example if you typed "coal" and not "coat" it probably won't catch your error, so you will still need to go through your typed story vs. the original story to see if you made any additional mistakes that the Spell Check didn't catch.
