Today was the day the students had the chance to "show what they know" about our Novel Study on Percy Jackson, the Lightning Thief. The first block of the day was spent reviewing their chapter worksheets and questions, and preparing for their quiz. While they were studying, I checked for completion of the good copy of the students' script and storyboard for their Ancient Greek Myth Video projects. (Only two of nine groups were ready...sigh) In the afternoon, both classes wrote and corrected the multiple choice portion of their quizzes. As an extension of the review, the students were asked to sketch a character from the book. Their sketches are below!
HOMEWORK: Please finish the good copy of your group's script and storyboard so that you can begin filming tomorrow. Also please finish any notes, questions or activities that are past due, and remember to bring your Cineplex Permission Slip and money for next week's field trip to Colossus to see "Captain America: Civil War." FORMS & MONEY NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY WEDNESDAY.
