I hope I don't jinx things, but it was yet another really good day in Divisions 7 & 8. The morning saw both classes go over how to make peer-corrections (Example is on the Humanities page.) In the middle blocks of the day, we read more about the daily lives and culture of the Ancient Egyptians, and had about 40 minutes to work on the Gods project. We capped off the day with another great day of playing Basketball. (Click here to see the Tournament brackets and teams.)
HOMEWORK: Continue to work on your Ancient Egyptian Gods Project and work on your good copy of your comparative essay. Good copy of Essay is due Monday, and the Egypt project is due on Wednesday.
NOTE: As a reward for working so hard this week, the students have been given the opportunity to have a "games day" Friday afternoon, during our regular Humanities blocks. To be able to participate, students will need to have all 8 of their Ancient Gods paragraphs complete and the GOOD COPY of their Essay. If not, students will use the afternoon blocks to complete their assignments.
