What a day!! Right from the get go, the students were on their game. First with working on their French Comic Strips, then with their Spelling Quizzes, and finally with their attentiveness during our Q & A session with our guest speaker / teacher Sarah Moore. (Educator and Tech Specialist from Vancouver Island) Following the lunch break, the students took part in a tin foil boat experiment, in which they needed to individually, then collaboratively design a boat made from a 2ft x 1ft sheet of aluminum foil. Their boats were then tested to see how many marbles and glass beads their boat could hold before it sank. To cap off our day, we combined forces with Madame Stopa and Madame Marcus' class for Game Show Day, and our third instalment of Fun Fringlish Friday.
REMINDER: Tuesday, May 2nd is scheduled to be our James Kennedy Track and Field Meet. Thursday, May 4th, is our Star Wars Day, and Friday, May 5th is a Professional Development Day.
