Monday began with an observation and memorization activity, then shipped off to Mrs. Roberts class for Music Monday. When the students returned, we reviewed Colours and Numbers in French class. After an indoor recess, we talked about Math, why it's important and how we use it everyday in our lives. The students then took turns answering word problems based on real life situations. In the back half of the day, we did Little Buddies, then had an assembly about Recycling and Litterless Lunches.
Tuesday, I was away from class, but the student were to work on their Stories from their story starters last week, and do some peer-correction. They were also given their Spelling words for the week, which are also posted on the English Page, if anyone missed them. The students completed some Math exercises to review place value and numbers up 100,000. In the afternoon, they had silent reading, read My Name is Seepeetza and were given time to finish colouring their Animal Art projects.
