Short and sweet today. Students had both Music and Library to start their day, then they returned to class to do a french sentence building worksheet. After a windy recess, we played Spelling Bingo with a twist, using definitions as clues, as opposed to simply calling out the spelling words. I also handed out the outline for the Animal Habitat Diorama Project (Downloadable files are on the Science Page), and we discussed different websites to use for researching their animal. We wrapped up our day with gym class, and a by doing some online research and cleaning up.
NOTE: Tomorrow is "BLOCK FRIDAY"!!! I have asked the students to bring along some LEGO, so that we can spend part of our afternoon, using our imaginations, creating and building together. All the students have been told that they CANNOT TRADE Lego, they must bring their Lego in a resealable container or bag , and that they must not use anyone else's Lego without permission first. It should be a ton of fun!!!
