Talk about the worst possible day to have your phone battery go dead! Division 10 and 8, did their dance routines in the gym this morning, and they were SUPER FANTABULOUSLY AWESOME!!! Only problem was, my phone battery was dead, and I could only take a few photos. (I did take a few with Mrs. Gore's phone and will hope to have them posted later this week. ) Once we returned to class, we had half an hour to work on our Coding for our Robot Mazes, then a bit of time before we worked on this week's spelling. (See homework details below). The afternoon saw us have an abbreviated reading period, followed by a Jump Rope for Heart Assembly in the gym. At the end of the day, students were given 20 minutes to work on their homework, before we corrected the multiplication, division and time sections of our Math Reviews from last week.
HOMEWORK: All students need to write our their spelling words twice. Grade 4's need to choose 12 words and write full sentences using the words in context. Grade 5s need to write a story using 12 of their spelling words.
REMINDER: Students have all been told that we will be going outside tomorrow and Thursday rain or shine, to practice for our Track and Field Events. Please make sure your son/daughter has a change of running shoes, and a change of clothing, just in case they get soaked while we do our running and field events.
