It was an excellent day in Division 10 today. Our day began in the gym, where our class teamed up with division 8, for either basketball or bench ball. It was awesome to see the students be so self-directed, and Mrs. Gore and I only needed to minimally instruct or intervene this morning. We were both really impressed. Once we returned to class, it was time to unveil the new class teams, and to rearrange the desks for April. After recess, we reviewed multiplication and division, and the students ploughed through their work booklets, before finishing up their area and perimeter work sheets. Following lunch, it was silent reading, followed by time to do some art, and even a little DPA (since the weather was so nice.)
HOMEWORK: If students haven't finished their Novel Study book marks, then they should be completed for homework. It needs to be 7cm wide, and 17cm tall, and needs to feature the student's name, and be completely decorated and coloured on both sides.
