It was the Walnut Grove Water Park day, and Mme. Marcus, Mme. Stopa, Mrs. Gore and I couldn't have been prouder of how our students acted and played today. Along with our nearly 120 students, there were over 100 students from West Langley Elementary, and dozens of children from local daycares at the water park this morning. Our James Kennedy students were very respectful and considerate of all the people taking in the glorious weather at the Water Park today. No pictures to prove me point, but even with water guns, water cannons and water balloons in the mix, the students all kept it fun, and made it an excellent day. A huge relief for those of us taking the students to Cultus Lake Water Slides tomorrow.
REMINDER: Please make sure all the students have food, snacks and at least two bottles of water packed for tomorrow. The sun is supposed to shine most of the day, so please ensure they have sunscreen, as well as a swim suit and towel. We plan to return to James Kennedy Elementary around 5:45pm, so all parents please be at the school no later than 5:30pm for pick up.
Also, all parents are invited to join us in the classroom on the final day of classes on Thursday, June 29th at 11am, for our Division 10 farewell. Report cards will be handed out prior to dismissal at 12:05pm.
