We finished up our Easter Egg Art Projects first thing this morning, before moving on to a Math review package. The students worked on their measurement, perimeter and area calculations, as well as their addition, subtraction and multiplication skills. After another inside recess, the students moved along to music class with Mr. Barkman, before returning to complete their math packages, and complete their NHL playoff brackets! In the afternoon, the class had time to read, search for and choose their JUST DANCE videos, and finished up their day with a visit from Madame Mulski.
HOMEWORK: Madame Mulski has asked every student to find a $1 word, just like they do in "Because of Mr. Terupt". Remember, each letter in the alphabet is worth their place in cents, based on their spot in the alphabet. a=1 b=2 c=3...y=25 z=26. Ex: CAT = 3 + 1 + 15 = 18 cents
