A little bit of everything today. Some English (spelling and writing lesson), some Science (Body Systems Presentations), some music and even some PE!! The day went very smoothly, and for the second day in a row, the Division 10 students knocked it out of the park with their project presentations. We had a total of 11 presenters today, nearly half of which used power point to teach us about their body systems. After we returned from a double-block of PE, where we played Laundry Basket Ball (super fun!!!), we quickly reviewed how to write a paragraph, in preparation for tomorrow's FSA short and long writes.
HOMEWORK: Students who have not yet presented, should be ready to go for tomorrow, as we will try to get most, if not all, of the presentations completed on Thursday. Also, the topic for the short write tomorrow is "Someone who had overcome a challenge" and the long story write is based on "a magic compass that helps guide people through adventures."
NOTE: Fun Friday this week (provided everyone puts on their work boots and stays on task tomorrow), will be "Comfy Friday." Students will be asked to bring a pillow, blanket, PJ's and a stuffy, so that the class can get "comfy", and enjoy a stress-free and fun Friday afternoon.
