After nearly a month of learning about and reading about Residential Schools, we finished off our reading of "My Name is Seepeetza" this morning. Once we were done, the class reflected back on what they had learned about Seepeetza's experiences and their own here at JKE. Each student did their own Venn Diagram comparing the similarities and differences, then we took that information and created a class derived comparison chart. (Attached below) After recess, we reviewed our weekly spelling words, then had the remaining 45 minutes to put their coding skills to the test. After lunch we had gym class with Division 8, and then wrapped our day with some Science.
