All good things must come to an end. As it was the last day of what has been an incredible month of November, we typically award a winner in our team table groups, but will announce our winner tomorrow at the end of the day. Another (not so fantastic) November related occurrence will come to an end tomorrow, as Mr. Chan, Mr. Knox and I will finally get to put our razor's to work, and be gone with our Movember Moustaches. We may have looked ridiculous, but it was for a worthwhile cause! As for class, it was a very good day. We had time to do more research on our Animal/Habitat Diorama projects, introduced our spelling words, played some bingo, did some relay races in gym class, and spent part of our day, coding for Science. The students used Scratch Jr. to create animals (both predators and prey) that could survive and thrive in their habitats. It was incredible to see the students creativity and critical thinking skills put put to the test while they created their programs. Great day!
HOMEWORK: Students should continue to work on their Dioramas at home, and have them ready to go for Monday morning presentations. We will have time to finalize things on Friday, if they would like to bring their materials and shoe boxes with them to school.
REMINDER: Tomorrow is our Field Trip to LEFT. We will leave the school shortly after Noon, and then return shortly after 2pm. Thanks you in advance to all our parent-volunteers who are making this field trip possible.
