It was a noisy, but exciting start to the day, as the students had the chance to test out which instruments they might want to play next year in Grade 6 band. Lots of excitable boys and girls this morning! With the gym being closed for the day, we moved gym class outside for another game of California Kickball. Despite my best effort to make teams equal, Team Megatron thumped Team Superkuku 17 - 8. th After recess, we had a visit from Mr. Vaillancourt's grade 7's who spoke to the class about environmental stewardship, pollution, and recycling. For the final half hour before lunch, the students worked to improve their typing skills. In the afternoon, our little buddies made their way to our room for a planning, design and building activity. To close things out, we did a coat room clean up, then had a couple of minutes to get started on the Fractions multiplication and division worksheets.
