The students jumped right into their market research for their Entrepreneurs Fair projects this morning, as they specifically tailored survey questions that could help guide them with creating their products. After an eventful game of Handball-dodgeball with Mr. Chan's class, and a rather wet recess break, it was back inside to canvass a few more opinions, before putting their data on graph paper in the form of a bar graph. After lunch the class was broken into 5 groups, each tasked with building examples of the 6 simple machines that we have been studying in Science. Midway through the afternoon, we had our first lockdown drill of the year, and while most students were quiet and remained still, a handful did not take the exercise as seriously as they should have and earned themselves a do-over after school. Before leaving for the day, the students headed down to the library for book exchange, then used their final 25 minutes of the day for silent reading.
