With it raining cats and dogs outside all day today, the students didn't have a chance to burn off their extra energy today, other than our 30 in the gym playing Quidditch with Mr. Chan's class. You'd think the students would be bouncing off the walls all day, but instead, they were fairly focused most of the day, especially during their Math Measurement Challenge (see photos and Challenge worksheet below). In the morning before math, the students continued to work on their Entrepreneur's Fair planning booklet, and Alex shared her progress with her Beanie Buddies.
HOMEWORK: There isn't any homework tonight, other than making sure that Permission forms for Science World, and Skating are in. (5 points for every student who gets their Skating Permission form in tomorrow morning.)
REMINDER: Science World Field trip is tomorrow, so please ensure all students have a packed lunch and snack, and are at school on time. Also Friday is a Professional Development Day, so there are no classes.
NOTE: Because of Thursday's Field Trip, Hot lunches will be put aside for students for the end of the day. We will have time to eat when we return from Science World at the end of the day.
