Brrrrrrrr...that pretty much sums up my feelings on the day, outside of the classroom. Inside the class it was nearly all hands on deck (surprisingly), especially given the frigid icy weather. We began the school week with Fitness testing and were able to finish our first rotation. Please remember to pack indoor athletic shoes along with snow boots this week, as we have fitness testing again tomorrow and Thursday. When we returned to class we reviewed our French number from 1 - 36, and had a head to head competition to see who knew their numbers the best in a competitive format. In the case of French to English, Iah took to crown, and when we switched to English to French numbers, Iah was still there alongside Joe once again. NICE WORK BOYS!! After recess, we continued with the theme of French Numbers by conducting a Math-French quiz, which tested their comprehension, spelling and math calculation abilities. I was really pleased with most of the students' scores. For those who didn't fare as well, please be sure to take time to review all the numbers. (They can be found in the Daily Review Dated Thursday, January 9th) . Once all the quizzes were marked and handed in, it was time to head back outside into the winter wonderland. To finish our day, we visited with our Little Buddies class, before taking the final hour to refine and research Heritage Fair Topics.
