We had a great Morning Meet Up today, as we went over the Weekly Learning Schedule, discussed the positive attributes of our two Real Estate Choices, and got to see some of our classmates' Woodblock Racer Designs! (Owen, Cole, Kache, Josiah, Tayden and Hayden). We also had a surprise visit from Mrs. King, and some help from Ms. Freistadt. The big takeaway from this morning's Meet Up was that student are now divided into two groups: At Home Learners and At School Learners. Both groups should join us for the Monday Morning Meet Ups each week, and both should also do the work assigned on Wednesdays, but the At Home Learners are recommended to do the activities I post for Mondays and Tuesdays, while the At School Learners should not, as they'll complete those activities during our class on Thursdays and Fridays.
REMINDER: Below is the link to the schedule for when students can pick up their Woodblock Racer kits. < WOODBLOCK RACER KIT PICK UP LINK >
**If you are one of the students who needs to drop off their racer design so that I can cut your Wooden Block for you, please drop off your design at the earliest drop off times on Thursday, so that I have time to cut out your wooden blocks. Also, please make sure your design is on an 8cm x 20cm piece of paper so that I can trace out the outline for you. I have set aside the first 9 time slots for students who need their wooden blocks cut.**
NOTE: We have new reading groups and new times tomorrow so please see the TEAMS schedule for your Reading Group time. Here are the new teams, and the book we are reading this week.
