Week 3 of the Sportsplex Skating Program took place this morning, and even in just three weeks, I can already see an improvement in their ability and comfort on the ice. Thank a million again to our volunteer parent-drivers who help get our student to and from the rink safely. Without your help and dedication, we would not be able to offer this opportunity to the students. When we returned after recess, we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and played the sentence scramble relay outside. After lunch, the class continues to hone their typing skills. We then finished our day with the French Power Point Presentations.
NOTE: Great work today class!! Not only were you on task, but I was really impressed with your level of understanding and flexibility as we took our learning outside. Fantastic job as well on the fundraising efforts, as we are only a few dollars away from breaking the $200 mark for the Canadian Cancer Society, and we have two bins full of food for the Langley Food Bank.
