Thursday morning began with a mat relay race as part of a team building exercise in gym class. Then following a short snack break, the students left for Music class. After recess, the students got to present their Identity projects, one final time, this time to their classmates. In the afternoon we all attended the JKE Diversity and Respect Week Assembly. Our very own Gideon helped open the ceremonies by acknowledging that our school is built on the traditional territory of local First Nations' People. Maggie too, had a part in the ceremony, helping explain part of her Identity project. All in all, it was a great day at school!
