Thursdays always offer a great start to our day, as the class headed down to the gym to join up with Mr. Chan's class for an entertaining game of Mat Ball. Division 8 may have ended up on the wrong end of a 13 - 5 score, but some great plays were made by Ryan H, Gavin and Jack. After a quick nutrition break, the students headed next door to practice their ukulele playing with Ms. Hu. After recess, we had a spelling contest, and the Canucks reigned supreme. Following the spelling practice, we segued into Science to work on the Human Body System projects. Each of the students were given a Self-Evaluation form to help themselves stay organized, and on track, with our projects being due early next week. (The form is attached below) After lunch, the class enjoyed a quick visit from some Langley Rivermen hockey players, who were in attendance as part of Literacy week. We completed our day with an hour of work time to get homework completed, or to continue to make improvements to their Science projects.
