Our day started really well with a trip to the gym, and an epic game of Castle Ball. After snack it was time to head to the music room with the Ms. Hu to test drive some instruments for next year's band class. In the middle part of our day, we reviewed adding and subtracting fractions. In the afternoon we read, did some art, and attempted to do some writing. I say attempted, because the class was not on task, and our in class assignment, became a homework assignment.
HOMEWORK: For tomorrow, I need each of the students to write a 150 word composition about where they think they'll be in 10 years from now. I asked them to be optimistic, but realistic with their writing, and that it is a good copy that they hand in (or share with my via Office 365), so they may ask you to proof read and help make suggestions for them.
REMINDER: Tomorrow is our field trip to the Stave Falls Powerhouse. Students should pack a brown bag lunch, and wear comfortable shoes. We are planning to leave for Mission at 9:30, and to return to the school by no later than 2:30pm. We will assign driver / chaperone groups in the morning.
