Quidditch helped launch us into our Thursday this morning. It was awesome to watch all the students playing, having fun and cooperating and following the rules of such a complicated and chaotic game! When we got back the class, the students had worked up a hunger so we broke for snack break. Once all the lunch kits were stashed away, it was time to turn our attention to planing and organizing for the French Fashion Show next month. (June 8th) After recess the class moved on to learning more about mixed fractions, and they got to work on a new work booklet. In the early afternoon, Mrs. O'Shea's class came for a visit and we played Big Buddy Freeze Tag, and then some kickball. The day wrapped with finishing up our portrait art.
NOTE: I have attached the media release that was sent out by the Heritage Fair organizers and it features FIVE of our incredible students, listed as Provincial qualifiers or Award winners.
