Instead of running, jumping and throwing around balls in the gym this morning, the students were joined by all the Intermediate students for a school screening of "Screenagers". (Please ask you son/daughter more about the documentary) When the class returned from the movie, they had an abbreviated music class with Ms. Hu, and then headed outdoors to play. After recess we all sat and discussed our opinions on the film, then turned our attentions to writing about the challenges of screen time. After lunch, the class settled in for some reading, then we headed outside for DPA, since we missed our gym class in the morning. We finished off our day with some R.W.D.P, and a good class cleaning.
HOMEWORK: Any students who qualified for the Regional Heritage Fair need to type up their bibliographies and have them ready for me to look at on Monday.
REMINDER: Tomorrow is a day off for the students as it is a district-wide professional development day.
NOTE: Congratulations to the Maple Leafs (Alyza, Alex M, Ethan, Jaden, Maggie & Dylan) for being the April Table Group Champions!!
