Three major themes to the day...writing, the Heritage Fair, and Kickball!
The day began with the District Writing assessment. The students had 60 minutes to write about their opinion of living in Langley. After all the writing assignments were collected it was time for snack and recess. In the mid-part of our day, the student had time to put the finishing touches on their Heritage Fair projects. After lunch, there was more time to work on projects, with a 45 minute break at 1:15 to get some exercise and vitamin D outside, before ending our day with a bit more work time and classroom clean up.
NOTE: Students should have all of their projects done and be ready to present on Wednesday. We will start presenting to one another after recess. Thursday will be the first day when students need to present to other classes, teacher and their parents.
HOMEWORK: Finish any last details for tomorrow's run through and rehearsal.
