Back in the saddle today, after spending the day at the Regional Track Meet yesterday with Rhys, Ryan, Jenna, Gavin, Connor, Ethan and about 85 other JKE athletes. The start of the day was not one any of us expected, and but an errant lunch had created a bit of an ant issue in the coat room this morning, but after some decluttering, disposal of the offending snacks, and a quick cleaning, the ant problem remedied itself. With only about 45 to work with, the focus in the morning was working on the French Fashion Show scripts. At about 10am, we jumped on the school bus and headed for Al Anderson pool, for lesson #2 of Operation Waterproof. After some classroom sessions on how to deal with someone who is bleeding or choking, the attention shifted to time in the pool. After half an hour of splashing around, the students packed up and we headed back to James Kennedy for lunch recess. In the afternoon, the class worked on their Swimming program booklets, played some Quidditch and then finished with Science.
HOMEWORK: Students need to have their swimming gear ready for tomorrow, and students also need to have their two 150 word paragraphs on the Hydrologic Cycle & Hydrolectric Dams. The Science writing assignment is due Thursday.
