Such an interesting day!! We were lucky enough to have a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs who brought us some Panther Chameleons and a Veiled Chameleon to see, touch, and learn more about it!! Very cool! Earlier in the day, we spent the majority of our class time reviewing French clothing vocabulary and working on flash cards. Between recess and lunch, the students had time to complete their NHL playoff pool brackets, and work on their Heritage Fair projects.
Also, we received some very exciting news at the end of the day, as the Radical Readers team of Connor, Alyza, Alissa, Sophia & KG beat out 16 other Langley school teams to win this Year's Langley Readers' Link Challenge!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
HOMEWORK: French clothing flash cards need to be completed and coloured by Thursday.
NOTE: I sent home a permission form today with MOST of the students, asking for permission for the Heritage Fair judges to be able to take photos or videos of the students' presentation on the 26th. You do not need to give permission if you don't want to, but I would encourage you to consider their request. (I will still be taking photos for our class website.)
