Take a look at this week's Weekly Learning Schedule, as it is VERY different from previous weeks. Please notice that the week is divided in three parts. Monday and Tuesday are online Learning days for the students who are At Home Learners, Wednesday is a learning day for ALL STUDENTS, and Thursdays and Fridays are set aside for At School Learners.
Students who aren't attending school on Thursday and Friday, the At Home Learners, should attend both Monday's Morning Meet Up, as well as your Reading Group time on Tuesday. Student who are at school on Thursday and Friday (Ryder, Emmy, Phoenix, Kayte, Cole, Iah and Slade), the At School Learners, do not need to attend, but are welcome to join us on Monday if they'd like. At School Learners will notice that class starts at 8:45am and you MUST be brought to class by an adult. You will also notice that we dismiss at 2:30pm. I will post the daily menu as we normally do at school, but just know that all of the activities the At Home Learners are doing on Monday and Tuesday are the same ones students will be doing at school, so At School Learners please don't do them on Monday or Tuesday. Instead use those two days to find fun, educational activities to do at home.
If you are unsure about what to do on your non-instructional day, go to the Online Resources Page of the class website to discover new learning opportunities. Find lessons on BrainPop, Epic, Prodigy, Khan Academy or others that peak your interest and do that. (Same suggestion applies for At Home Learners on Thursdays and Fridays).
Finally, remember, June is normally the time we have our swimming, many of our field trips, Sports Day, Year End Assemblies, so the amount of work being assigned always eases up at the end of the year. So if you still aren't sure what to do, go outside and be active. Play, jump on your trampoline, read a book, help with gardening, go for a bike ride and enjoy the sunshine and all the hard work you've put in this year.
