Mr. Tressel taught the class music this morning and they came back super excited to tell me that he could play the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. Following the snack break, we watched a short video about Lennox Island, PEI, and discussed its circumstances and the impacts of global warming. (Video can be found on the Science and Technology page). At 10 o'clock, our class joined forces with Mr. Chan's class for basketball and laundry basketball in the gym. In the mid-part of our day, we introduced our Little Buddy Scratch Jr. Challenge assignment, our Bilingual Baking project (Posted on the Math page), and the students had a chance to work on their typing. After lunch, we had an abbreviated silent reading period, then met up with our Lil' Buddies class to put their collaborative story-telling and coding skills to the test. The projects worked even better than Mrs. O'Shea or I could have imagined. We finished our day with a couple more minutes of reading, before cleaning up.
