Keeping with our regular Tuesday morning routine, the class took their musical talents across the school to take part in Music class with Mr. Barkman. When the students returned, we discussed our Entrepreneurs Fair projects, and gave the students time to work on their signage. After a wet and windy recess break, it was back inside to warm up and to correct our math work sheets from last week. We also had a quick lesson on how to use a multiplication table for solving division questions. In the pm, it was a time to quietly read, then we shipped off to the gym to play some benchball. For the final hour of the day, the students were given this week's spelling list, and then worked on either their Superhero / Jersey day posters, or if done continued with their Entrepreneur Fair signs.
REMINDER: I just wanted to send you a quick reminder about tomorrow's 2nd skating lesson at Sportplex. Please arrive as early as 8:30am tomorrow morning, as I will have my classroom door open for students and parent-drivers. Also, all students who are taking part, should pack their gloves, skates and helmets for tomorrow's lesson. If you don't have a helmet or skates, they are available for rent for $5 at the Hockey Outlet inside the facility. Finally, Mrs. Gore and I reminded the students that our Entrepreneur's Fair is coming up quickly. It is set for Monday, December 4th in the JKE Gymnasium, and is open for parents to attend. Parents and students are encouraged to work together to create a creative and profitable product together.
